Our story... 

...it all started with a toilet and a dream.

Cray: I laughed out loud the first time I heard the word Pussysense™! My best friend, Kray, jokingly inserted the word into a sentence one day when venting about her husband. I knew in an instant what it meant... I'll let Kray tell her story.

Kray: I think pretty much my whole life I was trying to figure out “who I was” and how to fit in and be “normal” in the midst of societal hypocrisy of religion, power and money.

I've been on a spiritual journey of self-discovery for almost 25 years. From the time I was 20, I vowed to break the cycle of generational  alcoholism, domestic violence, untreated mental illness, and sexual assault. That became my life’s purpose. 

So when I found myself at age 44, hiding in the bathroom and sitting on the toilet just to get away from my husband (now ex) chasing me around the house, calling me a stupid fucking bitch, I was dumbfounded... literally. How did I get here? How did I go from following the natural spiritual laws of the universe to mirroring the very things I vowed to break? I felt like a failure as a woman and a mother, worthless and beyond defeated. 

As I started to come out of a dissociated state I wondered how long I had been sitting on the toilet. It was long enough that the lips BELOW were cold… very cold… and I was like WTF are you doing? “You know better.”  My son deserves better. And then it came… like the bright light you follow when you die… out of nowhere… (maybe not nowhere-the lips were very cold).  I said to myself, “You need to get some fucking PUSSYSENSE™!!!!!”

For a split second I was able to laugh and felt a little less worthless. I could not wait to tell my best friend, Cray...

She saved my life. She saw my light, my beauty, my vulnerability, my mistakes, and despite me thinking I had no value or worth, she loved and accepted me unconditionally. 

That unconditional love and acceptance carried my son and I through the darkness to a new life. Literally from the day PUSSYSENSE™ came out of my mouth, we had a dream of sharing this love with the world... and 8 years later, here we are.

Cray: We’re taking back the word pussy and turning it into a positive word, a fun word, a word that inspires greatness!
